Terms of Use

By using convert.nowcalculator.net (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site provides

The Site offers free, browser-based unit conversion tools — covering length, weight, area, volume, temperature and speed — along with related educational content about physics, the speed of light and astronomy. All calculations are performed within your browser; the figures you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Educational use

The Site provides conversion tools and general information for educational and reference purposes only. While our conversions use standard internationally agreed factors and are accurate for everyday use, you should verify results independently for any engineering, scientific, medical, navigational or safety-critical purpose. Astronomical and physics figures in our content are rounded for readability.

3. Accuracy and limitations

Our converter uses standard conversion factors, but very large or very small values may be shown in rounded or scientific notation and are subject to floating-point limits. Different regions define some units differently (for example US vs imperial gallons); we use US customary units unless stated. Verify important conversions independently and use all results at your own discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You may use our calculators freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or resell our written content or calculator code without permission.

5. Third-party links

The Site links to external websites, such as banks, scholarship programs and credit bureaus, for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, offers, or practices.

6. Availability

We may change, add, or remove calculators and content at any time, and the Site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NowCalculator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this Site or any third party it links to.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site means you accept the current version.

9. Contact
